You’re not alone

It is estimated that more than 40 million Americans suffer from long-term chronic sleep disorders.  There are 70 recognized sleep disorders, from snoring to sleep apnea, insomnia to narcolepsy.  A sleep study at RiverBend Medical Group Sleep Center provides your healthcare team with the necessary information for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan.

A safe solution

Your sleep study is like an overnight stay in a hotel, with our outstanding staff watching over you.  While you sleep, one of our registered technologists will monitor your sleep and make sure you are safe.  Suring the study, sensors will monitor the activities going on in your body, including brain waves, muscle movements, eye movements, breathing through your mouth and nose, snoring, heart rate and leg movements.  All sensors are designed to be as non-intrusive as possible allowing you to sleep as close to normally as you would at home.

After your study

A sleep specialist will analyze and interpret the study data and submit a report to your ordering physician.  Your doctor will contact you to review the results and determine your best options for treatment.
